The Government of Pakistan has announced a fresh hike in the prices of petroleum products, which has come into effect immediately. The increase is expected to put additional financial pressure on the general public, especially as inflation continues to affect households across the country.
New Petrol Price
According to the official notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 8.36 per liter, taking it to Rs. 266.79 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has gone up by Rs. 10.39 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs. 272.98 per liter.
